WildCard size is the one label on every listing that means the same thing no matter who made it: 6 kids' tiers and 7 adult tiers, built from real published brand size charts plus standard US kids' and misses' measurements.

Nearly every costume brand we researched (Weissman, Kellé, Revolution, Glamour, Pumpers, Jo+Jax, Bloch, Kandi Kouture) calls girth: a loop measurement that runs from one shoulder, down through the body, and back up to the other shoulder, front and back, the single most reliable fit measurement, more so than bust, waist, or hip alone. If you're between two sizes on a snug or higher-value piece, girth is worth double-checking before you buy or list.

For custom pieces, or anything without a known brand size, sellers can convert from their dancer's normal clothing size instead, costumes typically fit snugger, so we size up slightly from streetwear.
