Originally from Northern Virginia, Ivy Lohn received her BFA in Dance and Choreography from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2015. Though her arts degree is specialized in classical technique, Ivy’s focus is currently embedded in the diverse realm of commercial dance and performance. Ivy is currently signed with Go2 Talent Agency and lives in Los Angeles, California; where she has been featured in multiple live performances, commercials, and music videos; including being invited to perform at the BUILDABEAST Experience 2016 Showcase by Will “Willdabeast” Adams, the Smartphone Vivo XPlay 6 commercial, and alongside Monsters of Hiphop faculty member Chonique Sneed in the official music video for her original track “On My Time.” Ivy has also performed as a back-up dancer for Tahj Mowry (Baby Daddy) on Oprah’s Where are they Now TV special for the OWN Network, and as a member of Amari Marshall’s dance crew “The Kingdom” on season one of Jennifer Lopez’s World of Dance on NBC. Ivy has been a dance educator for six years, and has choreographed award winning performances in styles ranging from modern to hiphop. She is excited to continue her journey in Los Angeles, and to see what challenges lie ahead as she trains and grows as a dancer, educator, and performer.
